Princess Robert

This is the lovely Princess... Robert! She used to be a prince, but a warlock's apprentice's spell went awry at his birthday party and he was turned into a girl! To make up for it, the young apprentice, named Elizabeth, agrees to take, er, her, to a wise old wizard on a faraway island in the Fourth Channel who can change her back. While on the journey, Robert insists that she continue to be called Robert and that she continue to wear men's clothes. As they travel through the land, though, they visit many cities and villages where she becomes more comfortable with her femininity, even agreeing to wear a ball gown when they help a woman at her daughter's wedding. Meanwhile, Elizabeth starts to see Robert in a way that makes her uncomfortable, and it dawns on her that her "affliction" has come back, where she looks at girls in the way most ladies look at men. As they get further in their journey, they make side trips more frequently, because they secretly don't want to meet that wizard and have Robert change back. They do eventually make it to that faraway island, and they're in for an awful surprise: Elizabeth's warlock master has orchestrated the entire ordeal so that he could marry Robert and claim the throne. Where they live, marriages can only be performed by certified wizards, and there's only about five left in the country. The other four would certainly not let him go through with this, so he picked the crazy old geezer in the Fourth Channel. The wizard involved in a marriage ceremony casts a spell on the wedding rings and then places them on the betrothed's fingers, where they cannot be removed until the day they die. What the warlock hadn't foreseen was that Elizabeth had secretly been practicing a very high-level teleportation spell, which she used to escape the wizard's basement and stop the wedding. She ties up her master and demands that the wizard change Robert back into a prince, but Robert shocks her by putting the enchanted rings on her finger and Elizabeth's. She then admits that she loves being a princess and was able to figure out that Elizabeth loved her. They travel back to the royal city where they have a real wedding, and where Elizabeth passes her tests and is awarded a Master Witch certificate.
